Fans of the Washington Wizards are once again hoping for more from their team.

The Wizards are currently 18-25 and the 12th team in the East, which means they are far from making the playoffs again.

This has become a pattern for the Wizards: despite having some good players and sometimes starting the season strongly, they eventually fall apart and miss the postseason.

This season, there is one star who is making fans very happy, despite the team’s subpar record.

Kyle Kuzma, who is now playing his second year in DC, is doing his best work yet.

He is averaging 21.7 points (a career-high), 7.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists (also a career-high).

He is shooting 46.3% from the field and his true-shooting percentage is 55%.

In other words, Kuzma is having his best yet and is raising his profile and showing off his true star power.

What’s next for Kuzma?

With the way he’s been playing, it’s clear that other teams would jump at the chance to sign him.

One of those teams, the Los Angeles Lakers, is where he got his start back in 2017.

But how much would the Lakers – or any other team – be willing to spend on Kuzma?

Throughout his career, he has been critiqued for his inconsistency on the court and there are some who fear that this season’s progress won’t be sustained in the years ahead.

Is he worth a supermax deal or does he still have more to prove?

Kuzma might leave his current team for greener pastures or the Wizards may be able to convince him to stay.

No matter where he goes, he will have many more eyes on him now.
