Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is chasing some icing on the cake for his illustrious NFL career.

After all, it would be difficult to see any other player win seven Super Bowls and play in the big game ten times.

Aside from chasing another Vince Lombardi Trophy, he could reach 100,000 total yards in his career, a feat that would difficult to match.

Likewise, he has fulfilled his wish of playing until 45 years old and is not showing any signs of slowing down.

But while his competitive drive is unquestionable, Brady knows how to heed his body.

Therefore, The Athletic’s Greg Auman revealed how the veteran play-caller is taking it easy during training camp.

Auman tweeted, “So Brady had a veteran day last Wednesday, team off Thursday, excused Friday, practiced Saturday and Sunday, team off Monday, practiced Tuesday and Wednesday, excused today. He’s practiced in three of the last six practices.”

The Buccaneers could not care less about his non-participation during practices because they know what he brings once the regular season starts.

He will kick off his intensity to another gear as he chases another championship.

Now that Brady is taking it easy, it’s also time for Tampa Bay to see what they have with backups Blaine Gabbert and Kyle Trask.

Brady Will Push The Right Buttons

Though he is not joining the practices, Brady has done his homework with his teammates.

He already knows how to maximize running back Leonard Fournette, as well as wide receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.

However, he must learn the tendencies of their new wideouts, Julio Jones and Russell Gage.

Brady’s preparation is second to none and it won’t be long before he develops chemistry with their additions.
