The Warriors May Suffer A Surprising Loss This Summer

Based on their 10th-place position in the Western Conference, it is clear that things aren’t working out for the Golden State Warriors right now.
That means that some things might change for the team in the near future.
Certain people have predicted that the franchise may attempt to trade for some players and send away some of their own.
But what if they lose someone other than an athlete on the court?
People around Warriors GM Bob Myers believe he could become a free agent this summer, per @anthonyVslater, @ThompsonScribe and @sam_amick.

That might happen, as multiple reports are saying that Warriors general manager Bob Myers could become a free agent in the summer.
Currently, the Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Clippers are all “monitoring the situation”, meaning that Myers could find a new home within the league shortly.
A few months ago, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that negotiations for Myers’ contract extension had stalled and the future for him was unclear.
Myers has clearly found great success with the Warriors.
Just a few months ago, they won their latest NBA championship because of the strong team Myers helped assemble.
But things are changing for Golden State and the team is at a crossroads.
Myers’ exit might not be the only one affecting the team: the Warriors are still trying to figure out what to do with Draymond Green, who is also due for a contract extension this summer.
There are even some rumors about head coach Steve Kerr departing in the near future too.
There is a decent chance that Golden State looks radically different next year, both in the front office and on the court.
Myers and the organization might work out a deal and he could remain, but don’t be surprised if these are the last days for one of Golden State’s most important members.
