The Houston Texans finished the 2022 regular season with a 3-13-1 record, which severely underwhelmed all preseason expectations.

Not only did the Texans fire their head coach Lovie Smith, but they have also already lined up many different interviews for coaches of various backgrounds.

This morning, the Texans confirmed yet another marquee head coaching interview.

The Texans interviewed Ejiro Evero this morning, who has already interviewed for the opening for the Carolina Panthers.

With five head coaching vacancies, and countless coordinator positions open, teams across the league have broadened their searches as they are in pursuit of new leadership.

By taking part in their due diligence and interviewing all eligible candidates, teams can find the best possible fit for their organization.

Evero has a great history in the league, as he has been a coach since 2007.

He has worked for many storied organizations, including the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and Los Angeles Rams.

His most recent position was with the Denver Broncos as their defensive coordinator.

Evero is well-respected within the league and could be a great fit within the Texans organization.

The Texans will have a fantastic opportunity to grow their roster in 2023, given that they have 11 picks in the upcoming draft.

With three picks in the first 33 of the draft, including picks two and 12, the Texans could have three-plus players from the draft that would be instant upgrades and provide a great impact on their roster.

A new head coach would have to be intrigued by the opportunity to grow with an up-and-coming team like the Texans.
