The Golden State Warriors are fortunate to have Stephen Curry.

Ever since he was drafted by the Warriors back in 2009, Curry has been a culture changer.

Now that he is 34 years old, Curry continues to climb the all-time ranks of many lists.

On Sunday, he passed Pau Gasol for 41st all-time on the NBA scoring list.

In total, Curry has scored 20,902 points in his career.

If not for the plethora of missed games, he would already be much higher on this list.

Curry already has three seasons in which he has played 51 or fewer games.

Nevertheless, his longevity should allow him to continue to climb the all-time ranks for years to come.

His 20,902 points are seventh amongst active players in the NBA, ranking just behind DeMar DeRozan.

Despite his age, Curry has a chance to finish as a top-10 scorer of all time.

He should be able to play at a high level for another five seasons.

For instance, LeBron James is 38 and is still one of the best scorers in the NBA.

If Curry can average around 1,800 points for the next five seasons, that would put him at around 30,000 career points.

Putting him just ahead of Shaquille O’Neal who is currently eighth all-time on the scoring list.

Curry has shown no signs of slowing down this season, as he is averaging 28.9 points.

The struggles of Golden State this season will put more pressure on Curry to carry them down the stretch.

But, he has been carrying this organization since 2009, and as long as he is healthy the Warriors will be contenders.
