The 2022 Dallas Cowboys have drawn mixed reviews since the start of the season.

Analysts urged the fans not to get their hopes up so quickly, as Mike McCarthy has historically struggled in the postseason, and the franchise has also failed to live up to the expectations over the past two decades.

The Cowboys kept on winning even without Dak Prescott on the field.

But again, people were hesitant to jump on the bandwagon, and it was hard to blame them.

So, when the Cowboys imploded in the season finale, their doubters didn’t hesitate to predict they weren’t going to win a single playoff game this season, stating that they were the same-old Cowboys of usual.

Unsurprisingly, that included the biggest Cowboy hater on the planet: Stephen A. Smith.

Smith claimed that Cowboys fans should be terrified ahead of their game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So, now that his most-hated team proved him wrong, the often-controversial pundit didn’t hesitate to admit it and even gave America’s Team props for the first time in a very, very long while.

But don’t be fooled; Smith and the naysayers may still need to see some more to be fully convinced.

The Cowboys will hit the road to meet last season’s nemesis in a crucial game for their aspirations, and they’re currently 3.5-point underdogs according to most sportsbooks.

Needless to say, they’ll need to be at their best to beat the most stacked team in the National Football League.

Then, and only then, Stephen A. Smith will think they’re for real.
