Sean McVay Can Still Make Several Career Changes

The NFL coaching cycle is spinning furiously just two days after the conclusion of the regular season.

There are currently five head coach openings: Carolina, Houston, Indianapolis, Arizona, and Denver.

There could be more openings soon, and the Los Angeles Rams are one team that could end up being in the market for a new head coach.

Just a year removed from a Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Sean McVay has reportedly been weighing his options.

With a lack of quality draft picks for the foreseeable future and injuries across the board, the Rams could be in a really difficult spot going forward.

So, McVay has been considering retiring from the NFL and making the transition to the TV booth.

It makes sense, and if he does that, McVay is in a great position at the age of 36.

If McVay makes the move to the booth, he will get rewarded with a big payday.

And, if he decides to come back in a few years — or even 10 — he will still be one of the most desirable head coaches and be on the younger end as well.

McVay has worked wonders in Los Angeles, although the 2022 season was a rough one filled with countless injuries for the Rams, including two major ones to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

The future remains uncertain for McVay, but if he does decide to leave coaching for now, he could easily come back in a few years and be a popular choice for a number of NFL teams.
