Reggie Jackson has played for multiple teams during his time in the NBA but few have shown as much promise as the Los Angeles Clippers right now.

This team feels on the verge of real greatness with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and John Wall now leading the way.

After years of promising a lot to fans – and not delivering – the Clippers are ready to make good on so much.

In a video released on social media, Jackson talked about everything the team hopes to do.

He feels that the upcoming season will be very “special” and is putting in the work to help make that happen.

He’s right: the upcoming year could be a great one for the Clippers.

And if it’s not, perhaps it’s time to really blow the team up and start over again.

Clippers Charging Forward

With Leonard, George, Wall, Jackson, and the rest of the crew on the roster, there is no excuse for the team to be anything short of great.

The Clippers have been fighting through serious injuries over the last few seasons so it’s understandable why they wouldn’t be great.

But that’s all behind them now and it’s time to capitalize on the talent they have.

There are many who predict they could end the year towards the top of the Western Conference standings.

Some are even saying they will finally make the Finals at the end of the season.

All of this means that the Clippers need to do something big this year.

If they fall short, the front office should shake things up, make some major trades, and pivot the team in a huge way.
