Phillies Not Predicted To Have Much Success Over Next 10 Seasons
The Philadelphia Phillies are coming off a 2022 season that saw them lose in the World Series.
While it is very difficult to make the Fall Classic each year, the Phillies seemed primed for success over the next handful of seasons.
But, MLB.com thinks the Phillies will only make the World Series once over the next decade.

Anything can happen on a year-to-year basis.
Plus, we have seen bad teams turn their franchises around in only a year or two.
But, to not have the Phillies winning the World Series over the next 10 seasons is crazy.
The Phillies front office has shown a willingness to spend money in free agency.
Expect to see them remain aggressive in improving their team every season.
The Mets are predicted to win the 2024 World Series, and that is interesting.
New York has two old starting pitchers in Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander.
Verlander will be 41, and Scherzer will turn 40 during that season.
They are a team that is built to win this season, but every year that goes by will make it tougher.
Also, the San Francisco Giants winning in 2025 does not make much sense.
The Giants do not have a good roster, and they have a middle-of-the-road farm system.
The only way this team is good enough to win a World Series in two seasons is if they make trades or a huge signing.
It would be surprising to not see the Phillies back in the World Series before 2030, and they should be good enough to win it at least once.
