The Green Bay Packers have had much success under head coach Matt LaFleur.

They’ve won 13 regular season games in all of his three years at the helm.

Those win totals also delivered three straight NFC North titles and two NFC Championship Game stints.

Sadly, they lost those games to the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in consecutive years.

However, losing All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders could impact their chances this season.

Reigning Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers loses his top target and might not be the same quarterback either.

But if one team can surpass adversity, it’s the Packers.

Locked on Packers host Peter Bukowski tweeted, “The #Packers won 13 games last year without David Bakhtiari the whole season, Jaire Alexander and Elgton Jenkins for half a year, no Aaron Rodgers for a game, and they didn’t even try in Week 18. They lost 2 games they tried to win with Rodgers, and add 3 All-Pros for 2022.”

He added, “Davante Adams was worth 46 Total Points per @SportsInfo_SIS last season. In 2020, David Bakhtiari was worth 30 TP in just 12 games, and 36 in 16 games in 2019. Elgton Jenkins was 30 TP in 2020. Jaire Alexander was 52 Points Saved in 2020 (!) Not hard to see the offset.”

Pros And Cons For The Packers

Adams left a huge void in Green Bay’s offense when he was traded to the Raiders and eventually signed a five-year, $141.25 million deal.

But it’s time for Rodgers to prove that he is the MVP yet again by turning Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Sammy Watkins into 1,000-yard receivers.

The odds are in favor of that outcome not happening.

Yet even then, the Packers have the benefit of playing in a weak division with the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions.

That’s six victories for them every season, unless the other teams give them a run for their money.

If they win those six matches, they only need seven more to reach 13 or at least four to have double-digit wins.
