The Denver Nuggets continue to impress and win, regardless of the opposition or who’s on the floor.

Mike Malone’s team has been an offensive juggernaut, boasting the league’s second-best Offensive Rating (118.3 points per 100 possessions) and the fourth-best Net Rating (+4.0).

That seems like an easy job when you have arguably the most unique offensive player on Earth leading the way, and that’s most definitely Nikola Jokic.

He proved just that again by knocking down a memorable game-winner to cap off the weekend with a home win over the Orlando Magic, knocking down a step-back, pull-up three from the top of the key to call game vs. the visitors.

Needless to say, not many seven-footers could take and make that shot.

But Jokic is a career 35% shooter from beyond the arc, and he’s knocking them down at a 37% clip this season.

Notably, the Serbian superstar has become one of the league’s most spectacular and dominant players, and he’s currently leading the race to win his third consecutive Most Valuable Player award.

That would put Jokic in elite company with Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Larry Bird as the only players that have taken that award home in three straight years.

Throughout the season, the 27-year-old big man has been on a tear with averages of 24.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and a whopping 9.8 assists.

His rare combination of size and skills allows him to see and shoot over every single defender on the court, so we wouldn’t be shocked to see him taking that very same shot over and over again for the remainder of his career.
