NFL Insider Comments On The Buccaneers’ Changes

Earlier today, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made an official announcement about the state of their coaching staff.
As of this morning, Byron Leftwich is out as their offensive coordinator.
With the departure of Leftwich, one can only wonder what this means for the team moving forward, particularly for one of their star players.
Not saying this guarantees a Tom Brady return, but he definitely wasn’t playing for the #Buccaneers next season if the offensive coaching staff remained the same. https://t.co/k3hQ8T9S8i

Tom Brady has been in the NFL for over 20 years.
Although he has expressed his frustration throughout his career, even as a member of the New England Patriots, his frustration was taken to a new level this season.
On the sidelines of the Buccaneers’ games this season, Brady was seen yelling at the coaching staff, particularly the offensive coaches.
There has been some disconnect between Leftwich and Brady, which caused tension between the two.
Unfortunately, tension and frustration reared their ugly head more than a few times.
Leftwich’s firing might be a peace offering from the Buccaneers’ organization to Brady, a sign of good faith for things to come.
However, Brady’s postgame press conference was incredibly sentimental, and many have speculated that this was the beginning of the end of Brady’s time in Tampa Bay.
Will the firing of Leftwich be enough?
At this point in his career, Brady will likely want to go to a team that has an established culture, and one that he can step into instantly, perhaps as the missing piece that the team was looking for.
Either way, this offseason should provide lots of drama, and Brady’s decision will carry a lot of weight, whatever direction he decides to go.
