The NFL has done it again.

Just when you think they were starting to figure out the Pro Bowl and how the game had to go, they go ahead and choose Tyler Huntley to replace Josh Allen on the AFC Pro Bowl roster.

There is seemingly no real reason as to why Huntley made the team.

He started only four games all season for the Ravens and threw for 658 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

The health of other quarterbacks and their willingness to attend the Pro Bowl was a factor in their decision.

Huntley is not to blame for accepting the invite, but the NFL should have never considered him.

One analyst tried to put Huntley’s season into perspective with another AFC quarterback.

Some names that would have made more sense than Huntley include Mac Jones, Justin Herbert, Tua Tagovailoa, Davis Mills, and Russell Wilson.

Now a few of those guys would be unable to participate because of injury (Herbert) but they should at least have the accolade on their resume.

Even Dobbs put up similar stats to Huntley in four fewer games played.

The NFL might need to implement an incentive for players to want to go to the Pro Bowl.

That would make finding worthy candidates much easier.

It will be interesting to see what the interest level is like this year from fans.

The Pro Bowl has fallen off in years past and now the NFL is hoping a flag-football game will be more competitive.

Here is to hoping that this year’s Pro Bowl games are much better than the game was in previous seasons.
