Newest Clippers Star Stuns The Home Crowd

It’s been so long since John Wall of the Los Angeles Clippers has played a full season of NBA basketball that you can’t blame some people for forgetting just how great he can be.
As we all know, he hasn’t played in two of his last four seasons in the league and is now 32 years old, leading some to believe that perhaps his best days are behind him.
But when Wall was signed by the Clippers during the summer, a majority of the fanbase saw this as a chance for him to redeem himself and remind people how wonderful he is.

That is what he did on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets ended up winning 115-103 but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Wall was looking fantastic at times.
Toward the start of the fourth and final quarter, Wall sped past the defense of the Nuggets and slammed down the ball with a hammer move that made him seem ten years younger.
Understandably, the Clippers bench was on its feet, as were most of the fans watching.
This looked like vintage Wall and showed that he still has a lot of talent and the potential for some explosive plays.
Right now, Wall is producing 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists a game in 22.2 minutes per game as a bench player.
This is his first season not being a starter so he is still adjusting to his new role within the organization.
Like Russell Westbrook and some other stars who have had their positions within teams change, Wall has accepted this and is starting to shine.
The Clippers are treading water at 7th place in the West and if they wish to climb the standings, they will need more work like this from Wall.
