The 2023 MLB season will soon be upon us.

Right now, baseball fans are sitting through a long and boring winter.

But that soon will change.

Today, January 13, marks just one month before pitchers and catchers will report to spring training.

This only applies to those who will be taking part in the World Baseball Classic, as those not competing in the event will report on February 15 and 16.

Position players taking part in the Classic will report on the 16th, while those not participating will report on February 20 and 21.

On Twitter, MLB insider Jon Morosi made a post reminding fans that we’re getting close to the end of the offseason and spring training is nearly upon us.

It’s been a long and boring winter thus far, even with the flurry of free agent activity that began in December.

But we won’t have to wait that much longer.

Things are going to get exciting soon.

Once pitchers and catchers report, it will be time to make predictions for how the 2023 season will play out.

But there are several reasons to be excited.

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and soon, the offseason will be over.

Baseball season truly is the best time of the year.

It represents the dawn of spring and a period full of excitement and joy.

Offseasons aren’t fun, but knowing that baseball is right around the corner will have fans excited.

Not only will spring training begin soon, but we’ll also have the Classic to look forward to.
