The Los Angeles Lakers won their 5th game in a row on Saturday night, taking down the exciting and young Sacramento Kings with a tough 136-134 victory.

Once again, the 38-year-old LeBron James was a major part of the team’s success, scoring 37 points.

James is not getting any younger but he is still playing amazing, lights-out basketball.

Yet, his team continues to struggle, leading many to wonder what the front office will do to improve the roster in the immediate future.

The plain truth is that the Lakers don’t have forever to wait because James won’t always be playing like this.

James spoke with The Athletic’s Sam Amick and made it clear that his patience with the team is starting to diminish.

When asked about roster upgrades and the suggestion that the front office should trade away their future draft picks to bring in more help, James was clear.

“Y’all know what the f— should be happening,” James said to Amick.

He added, “I don’t need to talk.”

For months now, fans have been pleading with Rob Pelinka and the Lakers to use the coveted draft picks to improve the roster.

That desire for this has only grown since Anthony Davis suffered an injury.

Without more help, James might be putting up monster numbers that no 38-year-old ever has and the team could still suffer and miss the playoffs.

However, inside reporting has said that Pelinka and Jeanie Buss are holding onto the draft picks and would rather wait for the offseason to make any changes.

It sounds like James isn’t too keen on that plan and he’s finally letting it be known.

When James talks, people listen – will Pelinka, Buss, and the rest of the Lakers organization pay attention to their star player?
