The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions.

But, they have not played like it this season.

With a record of 20-21, the Warriors are in eighth place in the Western Conference standings.

Even though they have not been healthy most of the season, the Warriors should be better than this.

They have too many experienced players to be stuck in this lull.

Most fans have been waiting for the Warriors to turn it on, but that has not yet happened.

Is it time to panic about the Warriors’ season?

We have not seen a healthy Warriors team struggle like this in some time.

Their main issues have been on defense this season where they can not stop anybody.

Giving up the fifth-most points in the NBA at 117.7, the Warriors have lost their defensive identity.

Also they give up way too many free throw opportunities, and do not get to the foul line enough themselves.

Despite being a three-point shooting team, they still have plenty of great finishers at the rim.

They should focus on driving to the rim more and drawling fouls.

Overall, it is not time to panic yet for the Warriors.

They still have an elite core of players with plenty of championship experience.

Also, there should be a sense of urgency amongst the whole team after this last loss.

But, as long as Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson are on the court together, they will be very hard to beat in the playoffs.
