Even though the Utah Jazz are no longer the surprisingly top team in the Western Conference anymore, they are still a very exciting and young group that obviously has a lot of talent and will go far over the next few years.

Everyone had written them off but they haven’t been nearly as bad as those people expected.

In fact, they play some fun and exhilarating basketball often.

This is because their roster is filled with tough, fired-up guys with something to prove.

One of those stars, Jordan Clarkson, has been with the Jazz for years and has become a face of the franchise.

But will he be there much longer?

Marc Stein is reporting that Clarkson has rejected contract extension offers from the Jazz, meaning that his future with the team is up in the air.

Due to the work he’s done in Utah, Clarkson has made quite a name for himself.

Currently, the guard is averaging 20.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists a game on 44.7% from the field.

For years, Clarkson was known as one of the best bench players in the league and was given the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2020-21.

He is no longer a bench player and has started in all 41 games he’s played with the Jazz this season.

Clarkson is the sort of athlete who could be a starter on a number of teams across the league but which one would be willing to spend the cash to get him?

The current contract has him with the Jazz through 2023-24 but it sounds like Clarkson is contemplating a change of scenery.
