Brock Purdy Holds Several Shocking NFL Marks

Brock Purdy has quickly become an NFL sensation.
Not only has he led the San Francisco 49ers to a playoff spot, but they also will have home-field advantage for their first two playoff games, provided they win on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Purdy is also crushing it in some key individualized stats as well.

Since Week 14, Purdy is either in the lead or tied in five different statistical categories among the league’s quarterbacks.
Of these statistics, one of the most impressive is his passer rating.
Passer rating is both an indicator of completion percentage and touchdowns but also measures the rate at which a quarterback turns the ball over.
Purdy has had just four interceptions this season but has thrown for 13 touchdowns.
This rookie quarterback has made a case for himself and looks to continue his success into the 2023 season.
However, the 49ers will have a difficult decision to make at the quarterback position, given Purdy’s success.
They still have Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance waiting in the wings who are both sidelined due to injury.
Although Garoppolo’s contract makes him easily expendable, Lance’s draft capital makes their decision difficult.
Purdy is helping the 49ers win games.
He doesn’t make many mistakes, and it appears that he has developed a great rapport with his entire team, especially the pass catchers.
Purdy’s success has been in-part to the 49ers’ league-best defense, as he hasn’t needed to come from behind dramatically.
How will he fare in the playoffs?
