Blue Jays Fan Has A Demand Regarding Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The Toronto Blue Jays are lucky enough to have an MVP-caliber player in slugging first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
He’s hitting .284 with 26 home runs and 78 RBI and has a WAR of 3.8 in 2022.
In today’s day and age, we’re seeing teams give out massive contracts to their star players.
The most recent example is what happened today with Julio Rodriguez and the Seattle Mariners.
Seattle locked up their rookie sensation for the next 14 years on a deal that guarantees him $210 million, but could exceed $400 million.
In the midst of all the news surrounding Rodriguez, one Blue Jays fan took to Twitter to express his opinion on Guerrero and how he thinks that the Blue Jays should ultimately sign him to a long-term extension this offseason.
If Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is not signed to a long term extension this off-season, I am going to be upset.
He has a nearly 300 game sample of hitting at an elite production level, and being one of the most talented players in MLB.
There is no reason to not extend him for life.

Will Jays Extend Vlad Jr.?
The Blue Jays have the resources to do it.
Guerrero is also a generational talent.
He’s one of the best hitters in all of baseball and is the face of the Blue Jays’ franchise.
There really is no reason to not extend him if you’re the Blue Jays.
This fan on Twitter proceeded to say that he would be very frustrated if the Blue Jays do not ultimately extend Guerrero, citing that he has a large sample size of hitting at an elite production level and being one of the most talented players in the game today.
It would make perfect sense for the Blue Jays to ultimately extend him.
He’s part of the youth movement in Toronto along with Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio.
These are great players to have around, and Guerrero is essentially what has kept the core together.
We’ll see if the Blue Jays grant this fan’s wish.
