Bears Rookie Finishes Season With Impressive Performance

With the Chicago Bears NFL season over, fans are examining everything with the team.
From game film to player stats, fans are going over which players were good and which were bad.
One player who is proving to be a diamond in the rough is Braxton Jones.
Jones, who the Bears selected in the fifth-round of the 2022 NFL Draft, had a solid season.
Despite the errors and blunders of other players, Jones was a shining light on the offensive line.
While the offensive line allowed 55 sacks, Jones was doing his best to keep the number lower.
Overall, Jones finished 2022 as PFF’s 12th highest-graded rookie from the NFL 2022-23 season.
Braxton Jones was the 12th highest graded rookie in the ENTIRE NFL this year via PFF.
Jones allowed 40 pressures on 542 pass snaps ranking him 4th among rookie O-line w a 70.5 PFF pass grade. As a run blocker he was 2nd w 80 PFF run grade.
His future is BRIGHT. #DaBears #Bears

With him allowing only 40 pressures, he got the fourth spot among rookie offensive linemen and a 70.5 PFF pass protection grade.
While others on the offensive line were struggling, it was him giving the team hope.
He also played 100% of the offensive snaps during the season, showing he’s durable at his position.
If the Bears can get some additional pieces around him, then the offensive line can have a better season in 2023.
With the Bears having plenty of cap space for the upcoming season, they can get the help he needs.
However, he’s a piece that the Bears’ offense can build off, as he’s solid as a pass protector and run blocker.
The future is bright for Jones as his performance was more than impressive in 2022.
