Albany County Legislature approves redistricting maps

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany County Legislature has approved redistricting maps. The maps were proposed by the redistricting committee as part of a local law established in 2019.

The law states an independent redistricting process must take place every 10 years. The legislature approved the maps in a meeting Monday night. They said they believe the maps ensure constituents are well represented.
