A New Crop Of NFL Superstars Is Set For Big Money

The NFL offseason is here for a number of teams as they prepare for the next chapter and the new wave of free agency.
For others, they are getting ready for the playoffs this upcoming weekend as all 14 teams have an eye set on the Super Bowl in Arizona.
This offseason should be filled with lucrative deals once again.
In fact, there are a few NFL superstars who are set to cash out big time in free agency: Justin Jefferson and Joe Burrow being two of the most prominent.
Effective today, members of the 2020 NFL Draft class are eligible for extensions. A deal can be agreed to at any point now.

“Effective today, members of the 2020 NFL Draft class are eligible for extensions. A deal can be agreed to at any point now. Going to be a lucrative offseason for some superstars from that class,” per Field Yates.
Burrow is going to end up as one of the highest-paid QBs after leading the Bengals to the Super Bowl a year ago and then clinching an AFC North title this time around.
Jefferson is the best wide receiver in the game and just put together an eye-popping season with 128 catches (NFL high), 1,809 yards (NFL high), and eight scores as the Minnesota Vikings locked in the No. 2 spot in the NFC.
To put Jefferson’s situation into perspective, Tyreek Hill cashed in on a lucrative deal with the Miami Dolphins last offseason and is currently the highest-paid WR in the NFL (around $30 million per season).
Jefferson will surely want a contract in that ballpark, and Burrow should at least get somewhere around a five-year, $250 million deal similar to those of Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson.
It will be a busy NFL offseason.
