2 Keys To The Cowboys Winning On Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys are back in the NFC Divisional Round taking on the San Francisco 49ers.
But, this may be their toughest test of the season.
San Francisco has won 11 straight games, but they can be beaten if Dallas brings their A-game.
Here are two keys to the Cowboys winning on Sunday.
1. Protect Dak Prescott
The Cowboys dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers partly due to great offensive line play.
The Dallas offensive line did a great job keeping Prescott upright and that allowed him to have one of the best games of his career.
But, the 49ers’ defensive line will be a tougher test for the Cowboys.
The projected Defensive Player of the Year is Nick Bosa and he will be a handful for the Cowboys’ tackles.
But, they also have Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw who can pressure the quarterback as well.

If the Cowboys’ offensive line can give Prescott time, he is more than capable of picking the 49ers apart.
Their defense is fueled by the front seven, so if the Cowboys can neutralize that group they will be in great shape.
2. Create Turnovers
Any extra possession the Cowboys can steal from the 49ers will be huge.
That is why their defense must find a way to create turnovers.
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has played almost perfectly since he took over in Week 13.
But, he was the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft for a reason.
He has weaknesses in his game that 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has done a great job of hiding.
It will be up to Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to find Purdy’s weaknesses and exploit them.
Dallas led the NFL in takeaways this season with 33.
If the Cowboys can create a few turnovers in this game, that will give them the advantage they need to win.
